UK thinktank ranks Estonia 35th by wealth

British thinktank Legatum Institute has ranked Estonia 35th by wealth and living standards among 142 countries. Lithuania was 43rd and Latvia was 47th. Russia was 66th.

The world’s wealthiest countries, according to Legatum Institute, are Norway and Denmark which were on top of the list also a year ago.

Third was Sweden, fourth was Australia and fifth was New Zealand.

Finland was 6th and Ireland was 7th, followed by Canada, Holland and Switzerland.

US was only 12th, one place ahead of UK and two places higher than Germany.

Greece has fallen most, from 39th to 49th.
