Estonian media have reported on the amazing contributions of American citizen Mary Walsh who, with her family and church community, has provided 97,000 Euros ($120,000) to a center for disabled children in Jõhvi in northeast Estonia. Mary is retired teacher from the U.S. State of Georgia who has dedicated her life to helping children with disabilities.

With the infusion of these funds, Päikesekiir (the “Sunbeam” Center) has installed new floors as well as a new heating, electricity, and ventilation system in their building. Center officials report that only a small amount of painting remains before area children can take advantage of the center.

Thank you Mary Walsh for your commitment and involvement!
