April 26 marks World Intellectual Property (IP) Day, reminding us why enforcement of IP is important -- for the authors of artistic content; for technological innovations that help shape our world, and for all of us as consumers of intellectual material.

Our Embassy has increased awareness of IP by partnering with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on a project that encouraged Estonian filmmakers to develop short video clips on the consequences of illegal downloads.

It will debut on Estonian national television and in Forum Cinemas on April 26.
