Südamlik tänu! We have reached $77,000!!!

Our heartfelt thanks for those who have given so generously to give the old farm house, or as we have lovingly called it, the Red House, vanamaja, mudimaja, punane maja, a much needed refresh. This will help to continue the legacy that was created by the four seltsid: Hamilton, Kitchener, London and St. Catharines, by friends and relatives 68 years ago, back in 1955.

There are only 3 weeks left of our campaign and know that your love and memory of Seedrioru will surely help us to reach our goal of $100,000… and don’t forget that you have a chance to win a prize!

GRAND PRIZES: Two (2) prizes of 1 week of camp for a child
FIRST PRIZE: Seedrioru Hall Rental
SECOND PRIZE: Two (2) prizes of a Sauna Night for 15 people
THIRD PRIZE: A weekend stay at the Koldetare (2 nights)

Prizes will be drawn on June 24th at Suvihari, after dinner and before the aktus begins, in the clearing by the memorial ausammas.

Donors, for showing you our sincerest appreciation of your support of our Red House Campaign, we will:
• create a ‘Giving Wall’ of all those who so generously gave
• publish your name in this paper, Eesti Elu
• and list your name with thanks, in the Seedrioru Kavaraamat, if received by June 15/23

Our final plea to all of you who have not given yet – best to hear it from the littlest campers – those who have been and from those who are attending in the summer of 2023.

“I like to explore. I like my friends. I like the food. I like to play there.” – Sofia
“I like that I get to stay with my friends, I get to go swimming lots and I like when we play outside.” – Taavi
“I like swimming the best and playing in the sandbox with my best friend Taavi.” – Sander
“I like to play with my friends, swimming and the food!” – Aleksa
“I like to play on the equipment, sleep there, the food, but didn’t like the bathroom at the Mudimaja.” – Luuka
“Campfires! I love the campfires!” – Jaani
“We already have our suitcases packed for camp!” – Liisu and Aili

When you drive through the Seedrioru gates, whether for Suvihari, dropping kids off at camp, or for an event; immediately on your right, stands the Red House that was there from the very beginning. Then comes the tug of the heart, a flash of a memory, ending with a smile on your face and a happy tear in your eye. Priceless memories.

We can’t do it without all of your help!

Let’s keep making memories for generations to come.

Elagu lapsed!!
Elagu Seedrioru!!
