Caracas. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meet today in Venezuela and Bolivia, presidents of Venezuela's capital Caracas. Putin's intention is to establish the energy and asesopimuksia, which will strengthen Russia's influence in Latin America.

Russia and Venezuela in recent years has entered into several billions of dollars worth of arms deals, the U.S. has been worried about.

President Hugo Chavez praised the visit to Russia over the fact that it will help Venezuela to strengthen the defense of the U.S. threat.
