Some intense snow and extremely cold temperatures are expected across Canada, Environment Canada warns.
A weather alert has been issued for a total of eight provinces today: Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and New Brunswick.
