Eurogroup president praises country's 'impressive' economic performance.
Eurozone finance ministers agreed tonight (7 June) that Estonia should join the single currency on 1 January 2011, which would make it the 17th country to adopt the euro.

Ministers agreed to admit Estonia into the eurozone despite concerns expressed by the European Central Bank last month that the country's inflation will rise sharply later this year, so threatening its economic convergence with other members of the single currency.
