Spice?27 Mar 2006 12:01
First time I ever heard b.s. called spice.
Don't you have a sense of smell?
Maxim27 Mar 2006 12:50
Another negative comment gets a tick, and Maxim get licked. Seems like some things are never going to change here-hate upon hate upon hate, and it's all Maxim's fault! These people would never dream of writing the way they do; they never dare to think so rudely; it's just Maxim who rubs everyone up the wrong way. Well I find it very hard to believe. I think you've been on the hate trail for a long time and you're not about to give it up so easily, especially now that you can pour your hate onto Maxim. The more the better eh?

Your comment is hard to understand. Could you please be a little more specific and tell us what you consider to be "below the belt"?
I'm assuming that you aren't referring to Maxim's provocation about Lutherans not contributing much to Estonian culture. So, what specifically do you have in mind?
IMHO27 Mar 2006 14:57
Read the post by anonymous lll again and you will discover that it was written by our friend Maxim. That is why you didn't understand it. He is a devious "little" character.
I wonder.27 Mar 2006 16:02
If I were to lay money on it, I'd say that the post was from Peter. I say that because the language is a bit beyond Maxim's ability.
In any case, it's certainly one of the two.
After all, who else could say,
"I like Maxim and Peter because they spice this space [with mephitic insults]. The fact that they get under other people's skin is a problem for others [and the the reason for our postings], and I would suggest they start accepting these two gentlemen [as if an embittered anti-Estonian and neo-Nazi can be called 'gentlemen'] for what they are-intelligent and entertaining [like monkeys in the mating-season]. I find many of these comments to be below the belt, [which ones?]and the personal attacks are completely out of place [Don't you expect the victims to respond?]. But some people want to claim both victim status and lead the pack at the same time, [what does this mean?] and blame the friction [that they instigated] on Peter and Maxim. I would suggest these people take a deep breath [for what?], and start again at the beginning [of what?] if need be [for what?].
Peter. You are a fool.

The more I see more of these truly sick-minded people who get here and take chunks out of others, it makes me realize that every one of those negative comments is like a nail in the coffin for us Estonians. There are already too few of us left (and numbers are fairly rapidly dwindling with each passing year) yet we seem to consider ourselves rich enough to carve out the insides of some people appearing here, and in the crudest of crude language possible. Look at the majority of the comments, and you'll find among the rudest all those NOT written by either Peter of Maxim. Why are they being forced to the sidelines when it is clear that their language is nowhere as severe as most other people's. I would just like to sit down and cry my heart out at the appauling show of nastiness that seems to have no end in sight. Aren't you all ashamed of yourselves, especially after the original article was so brilliant at the start, yet wh end up with a heap of rubble at the end of it all.

Looks like a classic case of summarizing a situation just the way you like to see it, complete with a good dose of personal bias thrown in for good measure, because anyone can see right through your trashy little journalistic trait that you work for a major North American broadcasting company who frequently has biased reports in their programs. Neutrality never enters the scene with people like you.
Küsija28 Mar 2006 06:20
What does incomfortable mean?
to -- Mina Siin28 Mar 2006 09:15
Maxim! You give yourself away with your appalling -- not "appauling" -- spelling and style. You have made that error before under your own name.

"A Colleague" writes is the incult style that unmistakably Maxim"s. It's doubtful that anyone else could duplicate it.
Maxim28 Mar 2006 10:02
It seems perfectly clear to me now that there are other people here who use my name liberally, write comments under it and then get back to say that Maxim's at it again. I'm a little tired of all this kindergarten nonsense that goes on here, but at the same time I think I have as much right as anyone else to be here if and when I want to be. You English teachers can do what you like behind my back, but the level of dishonesty that comes through in these columns is absolutely shocking( some might even say "appauling").
Maxim to Küsija28 Mar 2006 10:22
'incomfortable' means the same as 'discomfortable'
to -- Maxim28 Mar 2006 17:01
Of the 61 comments posted here, I counted 18 which you posted. Which ones were fakes, posted under your name to make you look bad?

If you can point to Pärt, a fine composer, as proof of Orthodox cultural superiority, why can't someone point to you, a dunce with mental problems, as proof of the opposite?
Maxim29 Mar 2006 04:41
Because the only thing that can be proven here is that the level of contempt and hatred by my fellow Canadian-Estonians has almost reached its peak. Not even at Estonian internet sites such a Delfi (where there are some pretty gruesome comments made from time to time, and where one young lad has been ordered to court and fined for having written an anti-Semitic comment) does the atmosphere of spite and downright malice against me reach the heights that it does here. However, I understand that a lot of the sensible and wisdom-filled values which have been passed down by the first generation of older Estonian immigrants to Canada has now practically vanished never to return again. And so I well understand that it is the global "melting pot" values which have re-shaped the present generation. One can be forgiven for suspecting it has already reached a point where many of you are so frustrated by your environment, you are more than glad to see an outlet such as this one being available to pour your hatred onto people like me. Fortunately I am strong enough to handle what has been dished out to me so far, and in my heart of hearts I know that many of you will come out at the other end of life much better people than you proved to be here. Better luck.....
