Estonia has taken a historic precedent in acknowledging it's soldiers who fought for the country's freedom, be they on the Soviet or the German side. Judged against the furore which has swept the country in the light of the Pronkssõdur affair, it seems the only way round a very sticky problem which promises only to get more out of hand, if not dealt with as swiftly and deliberately as soon as possible. In hindsight, it is always interesting to review our past history, such as the article under discussion does with considerable interest, especially since the implications of having been tied to the Soviet Union always promise to arouse a pandoras box of further issues and problems. Let's agree to leave well enough alone, and also to applaude the recent decisions taken with regard to Estonian freedom fighters in WW2.

kas ei olnud see hiljuti, kui Rüütel(halvatud mõistusega inimene) kutsus eestlasi välismaalt tagasi eesti. niikaua, kui eestlased rändavad maailma avarustes, on loota eesti vabadust...sellest ei saa paljud aru...eks elu näitab.
