Toronto Estonian House conditionally sold to DK Acquisitions, deal with Revera terminated (36)

According to the International Estonian Centre press release today (July 28th), the Toronto Estonian House is now conditionally sold to DK Acquisitions Inc. The closing is expected in September 2020. No details about the owners or structure of the DK Acquisitions Inc were released, it was described as 'a very credible and experienced local development group'.

The Purchase Agreement with Revera was terminated. The terms were reported to be satisfactory to the Vendors, Estonian House and Estonian Foundation of Canada, although no details were released.

2) In what language was the agreement reached? Herein a possible legal challenge.

Tulge Külla proposed a good design. Isn’t there a resemblance, with contemporary updates, to the preliminary drawings for Eesti Maja by celebrated architect M. Bach (except for the reflecting pool for racoons)? See and be seen! The rear, looking out onto and seen from the Don Valley, is a good upgrade for the Grand Hall or Suur Saal designed by Bach, and the café in front fits well with the old and the new directions for the neighbourhood... A legacy site and and landmark destination to be sure!
