Been around for awhile now, to treat parasitic infections.
Inventors won a Nobel prize in 2015, not that it should matter, as Obama won one as well, for what I haven't a clue.
Dr.Kary Mullis invented the PCR test, and also won a Nobel prize.
Dr. Mullis claimed that PCR (polymerase chain reaction), was never designed to be a diagnostic tool.
Here we are two years later, and PCR will no longer be used after Dec.31, 2021.
It has served it's purpose.
