Thank you for this interesting article. Nice to see one of our own excelling.

Why do you think he specifically is one of our own???
.09 Oct 2009 14:34
Because I'm assuming that, otherwise, he wouldn't be written up.
Do you know him and have a reason for disowning him?

Is Susan Boyle Estonian because her video was posted here?
Or Obama because his story is posted here?
Idiot.

Read the article. There, you'll see that Lucas is identified as an Estonian-Canadian.
Is there any reason to challenge that?

I'm not so sure that carrying an empty violin case around and imagining you want to be a great musician really makes you one in the end, even if you locate yourself in a sheet music outlet somewhere in NY city and happen to be good at triathalon. For most of anyone's last 10 years, they would have been sweating it out to beat the competition. I think this guy is a hoax. Where is his track record as an accomplished artist aside from the bs in this article?

Wow, that's pretty harsh. Bad case of envy? It's NEWSPAPER article, in a general interest paper. They write whatever they think will sell papers.
For a more serious resume of the man's training and accomplishments, try this:

And actually, he is a Hungarian/Estonian Canadian.

Who cares? This is an incredibly dull story about someone who happens to have some Estonian DNA.
