Protectionism would not curb the bad kinds of globalisation.

The world economy will shrink this year for the first time since 1945, and some economists worry that the current crisis could spell the beginning of the end of globalisation. Hard economic times are correlated with protectionism, as each country blames others and protects its domestic jobs.

lets be honest here, all wars have been started by someone who wants to globaize, and how fortunate have the globalized been ?

So do the leaders who pull the strings in London, New York and Brussels know what is best for Hiiumaa or Võrumaa ?
at least they know what's best for themselves, and what best controls the masses
what is the price that people will pay for independence?

Democratic defender of NSA spying was wiretapped in Israeli spy probe

Democratic Congresswoman Jane Harman of California was recorded in 2005 on a National Security Agency (NSA) wiretap of a suspected Israeli intelligence agent, according to current and former government officials cited in press reports. The recorded conversation, they indicated, dealt with an apparent quid pro quo arrangement involving Harman’s promise to seek leniency for two indicted pro-Israeli lobbyists in return for support for her bid to become chair of the House Intelligence Committee.
