In Lithuania, people have taken to the streets to protest against the influx of refugees into Europe.

The anti-refugee rally was held in Lithuania’s second largest city of Kaunas. The demonstrators were waving right-wing flags and holding banners with slogans against refugees. Anti-refugee protest rallies have been held in different European countries, including Germany, Austria, France, and Estonia over the past months. Europe is the destination of hundreds of thousands of refugees, mostly fleeing conflict-hit zones in Africa and the Middle East. The refugee crisis is said to be the worst since World War Two.
