The event was very well done!
The M.C. was justifiably brutal in controlling the Q&A session when some people tried to change the topic or, "tell the speakers a question".
The audience displayed its appreciation by purchasing speakers' books, in mass.

The attitude of a certain impatience expressed above seems misguided. Anyone who is unable to speak beyond their own case can see a therapist or get educated. Everyone on stage at a public event can be expected to work with concepts and principles and to take positions or concede ignorance on issues related to the subject, in this case "Repressions and Human Rights". Anything less is not seriously deserving of the name "conference".

The Livestream ran into technical difficulties. Is there a video that could be posted?

The programme was so ambitious that the MC was forced to curtail some of the presentations. That was unfortunate for Prof. Kivimäe.
The evening could have easily been divided into two, perhaps three, separate sessions.
The Q&A session could have been done away with, under the circumstances. As usual, it wasn't worth much.

Suurepärane rahvusvaheline üritus. Kiitus korraldajatele. Selliseid kõrge tasemel esindajaid ei ole kunagi ennem näinud sellisel Eesti-Balti üritusel.

I bought a copy of Bill Browder's book, "Red Notice" at this event.
It's terrific! Although it focuses narrowly on the "Magnitsky Affair", it reveals that the character of post-Soviet Russia is not much different from the ghastly USSR.
