Russians don't want or think they need to learn Estonian. They see no value in learning the language. It is a tough battle...

0There is a big difference in attitude between the generations. Among older Russians, there are plenty who still pine for "the good old days of the USSR" where the Estonians knew their proper place. Some of them believe that Estonia's independence is temporary, so, why bother learning Estonian?
