In spring 2013, sales of summer manors were more active in Estonia than previously, LETA/dv.ee reports. Russian citizens show a lot of interest toward real estate of that kind in Estonia, albeit mostly in good condition.

The market of cottages has always been active at bigger or lesser extent, and, now it [is experiencing] a high rise.

"The market of summer houses in Haapsalu, Pärnu and in Southern Estonia showed a kind of activity at the crisis times, because even then particular people wished and were able to buy a dwelling. They resisted and made good-bargain purchases," Peep Sooman, Pindi Kinnisvara's Board Member, said.

According to his opinion, the interest towards summer manors has rocketed.
