On the 10th of September, 52 golfers came and enjoyed our 27th annual EGO Golf Tournament at the Pheasant Run Golf Course just east of Newmarket. The day was a perfect late summer day with scattered clouds and sunshine. A big thanks to Tommy Ray (Toomas Loite), who captured some amazing shots of the tournament, Tony Kadai who looked after our putting contest, Ene Timmusk who provided some very tasty kringels and my daughter Kariina who took care of all of the registration. We saw many new faces at EGO this year and hope to see them again next year.

When the players came into the clubhouse after their round of golf they finished the day with a carved roast beef buffet dinner with dessert menu of kringels (by Ene Timmusk) and homemade brownies. After dinner we had the awards presentation as well as the participation prize distribution.

The tournament was a huge success due to the participation of the players but also our hole sponsors - Mark Vaher Remax, Toronto Eesti Selts, Eesti Üliõpilaste Selts, Tartu College, Northern Birch Credit Union, Tevag Inc., and Jack Lake Productions Inc. I also want to thank all of our players who donated prizes for the participation raffle draw at the end of the day.

EGO (Estonian Golf Club of Ontario) would also like to thank Graeme McCarrel and Rebecca Krauklins, and the entire Pheasant Run Golf Club team, you made us feel welcome.

See you all next year, at our 28th anniversary, at the Richmond Hill Golf Club, on the 20th of September 2024! It will be a change of format, since the tournament will be held on a Friday and will start off with a breakfast before we start the tournament.
