Hawk Corporation president Martin Habicht presented the Estonian chargé d'affaires Rasmus Lumi with a Hawk Hoodie sweatshirt. Mr. Lumi was impressed by the quality product, and believes Hawk Hoodies has great potential.

During his recent trip to Estonia, Mr. Habicht observed that this type of sweatshirt was not available there. Sketching out a design, and using only the highest quality materials - 90% / 10% cotton/polyester blend, and over 30,000 embroidered stitches – Mr. Habicht created his first collection of Hawk Hoodies.

His design took on new significance when his closest friends and relatives all wanted one. With the Canadian made hoodies rolling off the assembly line, Mr. Habicht has now turned his attention to the promotion of his first fashion project. He is eager to sell it to the Estonian government. These will be distributed as gifts from the various embassies.

Mr. Lumi was very gracious in accepting Mr. Habicht’s product as a gift. He feels that more ventures promoting Estonia and its heritage are important and necessary. Hawk Hoodies’ “Estonia” designs are available for order through the web at http://HawkHoodies.com , by contacting Martin atmart@hawkhoodies.com , or by phone at 613-882-8359.

How about your comment 'these sweaters represent our country'? This is the line that got me pissed and wasting my time arguing with you. If you don't get my point about paper bag, how about I slap a flag on my hairy butt? Does it make my butt look beautiful?

Anyway, I don't want to waste any more of my time arguing about it. I wish you luck with your beautiful sweaters, I might even buy one myself. I'll make sure I shave and comb my hair when wearing one, so that no one gets any weird ideas about Estonia.

Maybe in your eyes that paper bag wouldn't be beautiful, but in my eyes anything that has the Estonian flag "slapped" on to is beautiful.

So if i "slapped" a flag onto a paper bag, and If someone said that paper bag was "hideous" i would of course be insulted. It bears the flag, and I would question what about the paper bag that person thought was "hideous" - the brown color? The paper texture? the flag "slapped" on? If not the flag, then i would supposed he would consider ALL paper bags "hideous" whether it had a flag on it or not. So this is why i connect the two. The simplicity of the design on the sweatshirts (the flag with Estonia written above) makes me question why these sweatshirts are considered "hideous." They are just plain sweatshirts - does this person not like sweatshirts in general? Perhaps you should take a look at the sweatshirts before you question any connections that I, or anyone for that matter, make. Thank you.

And by the way, no where in ANY of this did ANYONE say the sweat shirts were "official" - so thanks for quote but it was seriously unnecessary.

FYI, I haven't seen or examined the sweater myself, it may or may not be a nice piece of clothing. I am just surprised that you somehow try to connect a critique of the sweater with critique of the country.

It is absolutely NOT natural to connect the two. I can take a paper bag, slap a flag on it and pull it over my head. Does this make the bag beautiful? Of course not!

As for your point with Nike, you couldn't be more wrong. I agree that when Nike slaps their logo on something it represents the company. But taking a flag and slapping it to a piece of clothing does not give the clothing any "official status". Implying otherwise is illegal, as per "Reklaamiseadus" parag.
