On the weekend following Thanksgiving, the Põhjala Tütred gaidid held a work weekend and weekend camp at KJ. With chilly but sunny weather, we were able to get a lot of work done around Järvetare and the gaid sub-camp. The gaidid also completed a number of badge work items, so all-in-all, it was a very productive weekend. Thanks so much to everyone who came to help out!

Here are the girls during their short hike around Kotkajärve on Saturday afternoon. This photo was taken on the front porch of the last remaining building in legendary 1950’s Sissiküla, a log cabin built by skm Ülo Soots. This is noted in respect of the fact that the original Järvetare, now built anew from footings up, was the first building at KJ. Will a Sissiküla-type project also be resurrected?
