Every year, the prestigious Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), of which I’m an active member, holds an open International juried exhibition titled “PAINTING on the EDGE”, (“a challenge issued to artists to push their artistic limits and create extraordinary and unique images”).

This year, there were nearly 1,100 entries from all over the world. I feel very honoured to have my acrylic abstract painting “STYLLABUS” (above) as one of the 50 works selected to be shown at the FCA gallery on Granville Island, Vancouver, (604) 681-8534, from August 18 until September 6, opening reception and awards presentation on Thursday August 20, 6- 8PM. My painting will also be in a special catalogue of this respected exhibition.

Please drop by if you happen to be near the East tip of Granville Island.

I have also been invited to show my watercolours “STICKS AND STONES"
in the MEZZANINE Gallery at Place des Arts, 1120 Brunette Avenue, Coquitlam, BC (604) 664-1636 from Aug. 13 to Sep. 5
Please come to the OPENING RECEPTION ON THUR. AUGUST 13, 7- 9PM,
if you have time, happen to be in the area, and bring a friend.
