Heikinheimo to speak in Toronto

Former Finnish ambassador, author and lecturer, Mikko Heikinheimo is in North America to promote his book “Memoirs of Europe”. The book has been translated from French to English by Tõnu Onu, a long-time Ottawa Estonian.

Heikinheimo has been lecturing in various European countries, European Parliament as well as in North America on issues related to political and cultural history in Central and Eastern Europe. He is also currently lecturing at the University of Sorbonne.

On Monday April 3rd at 12:30 Heikinheimo will be speaking at York University on “National Identity and Integration in Europe”. The lecture will take place at the Canadian Centre for German and European Studies, office boardroom, 230 York Lanes, 4700 Keele Street, York University.
