This year’s theme is sport and health! This year’s star presenters: Alar Sikk, Estonian mountaineer, who has conquered the seven highest peaks on 7 continents, including Everest and Kilimanjaro! Jüri Daniel, Prof. emeritus, UofT, head of the Phys. Ed. Dept. on sports psychology. Toomas Trei will provide an overview of Estonia’s Olympic winners and other top athletes. Anita Kreen, multiple winner of best folkdance instructor in Tartu, will bring with her this year’s Folkdance Festival’s spirit, music and dances for all to enjoy and take part in.

Other exciting speakers: Eerik Niiles Kross, former head of Estonian Intelligence, presently Estonia’s security analyst, Meelis Kiili, Estonia’s defense attaché, stationed in Washington DC, Jaak Prozes, advisor of Estonia’s central Fenno-Ugric Institute, Prof. Tiina Kirss on Estonian literature, Ellen Valter on cheese (and everything you ever wanted to know about it), and others.
