The first Estonian-language issue of Forbes Magazine will be published in June, its chief editor Vallo Toomet said.

Toomet told BNS [this week that] the exact date when the magazine will go on sale was still not known, just like its exact number of pages and print run. The editorial staff has significantly more material ready than there's room in the maiden issue, said Toomet.

The Estonian-language magazine is likely to be printed in Latvia, where Forbes has been coming out since last summer. According to the Forbes Eesti website the publisher is SK Media Eesti OU, a company of SK Publishing Group.

A report published in December 2011 said Forbes Eesti will have 60% Estonian content and 40% news content provided by its US parent. The magazine was to be published monthly with a print run of 20 000 copies.

SK Publishing Group is active in the Baltic countries, Russia and Belarus, publishing more than 30 international and local magazines and journals.

Forbes presents inaccuracy and incompleteness at its best.
(Have you ever seen a Rockefeller or Rothschild on their most wealthy lists?)

My preference is to support Äripäev!

Vallo Toomet appears to be another Estonian sellout.
