Estonia's Health Board: 829 new cases of coronavirus diagnosed, five deaths (2)

829 new coronavirus cases have been found of a total 5,781 tests taken - a rate of 14.3 percent - in Estonia over the past 24 hours, the Health Board (Terviseamet) announced. Five deaths were also registered since Sunday morning.

There were five deaths since Sunday morning: an 88-year old man, an 81-year old woman, a 79-year old woman, a 64-year old woman and a 55-year old woman.

According to data from the population registry, there were 471 cases diagnosed in Harju County, 329 of which were in Tallinn. 73 new cases were discovered in Ida-Viru County, 63 were diagnosed in Tartu County and 55 new cases were opened in Lääne-Viru County.

42 people from Pärnu County tested positive, 31 cases went to Võru County. Järva County saw 26 new cases added over the last 24 hours, 18 cases were discovered in Viljandi County. 14 cases went to Rapla County, ten to Jõgeva County, seven to Valga County and three to Põlva County. The counties of Lääne and Saare saw two cases each and one case was opened in Hiiu County.

The article talks about cases in Estonia, not in Ontario.

Interesting to compare them though, ON is about 10x the population in Estonia, makes the comparison very simple.
