Estonia’s central bank: rise of food prices to slow down

Estonia’s central bank said today that although food prices played a key role in the 5.3% year-on-year inflation in November, it expects upward price pressures on food to ease in Estonia.

The bank said that the current level of commodity prices does not justify the higher consumer prices of some food products compared to 2008.
