Arrivals from the Netherlands, Latvia, Estonia, and Hungary will now be permitted entry into Denmark without being subject to the testing obligation or the quarantine requirement as the countries have been moved to the green list.

Such a decision was announced by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which noted that the newly updated measures are valid since July 3

In addition to the four countries mentioned above, the Spanish regions of Navarre and the Basque Country are now part of the green list, meaning that arrivals from the two regions can enter Denmark restriction-free.

Denmark has already entered its last phase of reopening plan on June 26, allowing restriction-free entry to travellers from most EU and several other third countries.

As Denmark is one of the first countries to start issuing and verifying the EU COVID Passport, Danes are now able to travel to the EU/Schengen Area countries as long as they have been immunized against the virus, provide a negative Coronavirus test result, or provide proof of recovery.
