Who were the Bolsheviks ?

It would be a shocking slur on Stalin to suggest he was mingling with fellow-travellers busy putting together the Protocols of the Elders...but chances are that the Protocols themselves are the work of the Bolsheviks, who were keen to deflect anything happening in Russia as being "their fault", and it was pretty sure that the Jews would be the best scapegoat for getting on with their own Messianic plans.

Stalin was an Orthodox Georgian. The rumours that he was Jewish came from the Yiddish language press since Stalin understood this language but there is no evidence that he spoke Yiddish at home as was suggested. He probably learned this language in prison as is was widely spoken at that time among Russian revolutionaries.
