democracy required in eesti26 Sep 2018 18:57
So here we go again, this time an unelected European Union apartchik ‘Estonian’ sings the song of fealty to its deep state masters wherever they are - Estonia is digitally controlled, elections, money, minds, no God, what’s next ? However, people outside of Tallinn want focus on their living standard, not Danske banks, nor some EU anointed flunkie doing photo ops, while the pensioners who held the country together during the other Liit, receive ~400 euros monthly. This helps explain why the self serving opportunists of Reform are slipping badly, and Keskerakond may look good in the coming March elections when the rahvas will be looking for its Orban.
What needs doing immediately … hopefully as effectively as Doug Ford did in Ontario … the position of President needs to become elected by the Eesti rahvas in March, if Estonia is to be considered a democracy.
eestis ei ole demokraatia02 Oct 2018 14:22
335 'valijameest' otsustasid 2016 aastal kes saab presidendiks.
See ei ole demokraatia!

Perhaps different comparison03 Oct 2018 07:22
I see what you mean in the case of Estonia, but the comparison with Doug Ford doesn't help your argument. The man has shown poor judgement and misplaced vigor out of the gate by threatening to use the notwithstanding clause on something on which he did not campaign (reeks of personal vendetta, not very premier-like).
