Doesn't the board understand how inefficient it is to consult the community on its needs after the building plans have already been made and budgeted?

Parking not an issue for younger generations??? Really? What young couple who is raising a family can afford to live in a 2 or 3 bedroom condo downtown? People with young families are in the outer suburbs. You really need to do a proper survey of the community to see if there is truly enough interest in the project.

4 orgs should have surveyed the population before embarking on the Madison plan. It would have saved the community grief and they would not have been so surprised by the backlash they have to deal with today.

Curious. Mr. Kongat's time does not come cheap. How much is being expended for each meeting?

Again savings would have been achieved with survey prior to project, not with architect being used as part of damage-control action after-the-fact.

For me, it has to be the subway line. lots of young families in the city limits. Honestly if you moved to where the Latvian house is, I would never ever go. I would totally accept that parking is not important for young people.

Stop with the negativity already. The Orgs have spent years discussing options and solutions with as many people as possible. Support for the new EC is increasing! It is the best choice and the faster we all get behind it the befter it will be !
