As Goble writes, Ilarion is pursuing a path with dangerous implications for the Baltics. One that ignores, once again, the reality of how Russia is ruled and how it tries to brush garbage and dust into Western eyes.

Goble writes: "And as Ilarion pointed out to Interfax, there are now an estimated eight million Russian speakers in the European Union, the largest linguistic community there whose language is not an official one in the EU. Moscow has long sought that recognition not only for status questions but because of the consequences for language policies of countries like Estonia and Latvia."

Well, Russia is not an EU country. Should Arabic become an official EU tongue, considering the numbers of people who speak it and have made Europe their home? Chinese an official language in Canada?

The very fact that Illarion has the nerve to tie religion and language into a not-so-nebulous political goal is reason to oppose this plan and lobby against any such formation of a political group in the EU or for that matter anywhere, where Russia is aiming to impose their standards at the expense of sovereign and free nations such as Latvia and Estonia.

You will soon find that the Islamic push into Europe is going to reach the same stage as it did in the high Middle Ages. However with one exception; Europe will be compromised beyond present estimations in favour of a bi-lateral Islamic concordance of rights (read:Shariah Law!) and this acceptance of Islamic interests will stop short-for a period of time-of an Islamic push to confer dhimmi status on Europeans. However, that EU citizens could manage to bypass dhimmi status is simply naivety to the extreme.

Looks like those pills are really helping Maxim.

He doesn't sound so crazy now. Still stupid and arrogant, but not insane.
