Join the Orthodox church and you'll find the authorities take much more kindly to you. Sure, it's a bit tough going along the border, and always has been, but there are huge opportunities for furthering one's career if you play your cards right and don't do anything stupid, if you know what I mean. There's plenty of hope and goodwill on the border, and sure, it seems as though peace between Russia and Estonia is a long time coming, but I don't think that will stop the two countries turning a new leaf soon. Yeah, I know there are some Estonians who don't like Russians very much, but if we're in it for the long haul, it would pay to listen to what Russia has to say and find some sort of meaningful compromise which would help Russia and at the same time represent our own interests. Paul knows what I'm on about, and I'm sure there are plenty of other readers willing to hear the call of duty and serve on the border if it means better relations with Russia.
