Hey guys, this story sounds a bit soppy to me; but nice if you find the "draw" to have an impact of finally getting you here. Reality is a little different though.

As it happens, I don't find that particular aspect soppy at all. That "oled Estonian" is still understood here, is one of Estonia's-indeed Europe's unique qualities, which contrasts sharply to the hip-happy but rather borish way many Western countries relinquish almost anything to do with yesterday. When I landed in Estonia, the media reported that there were still people alive who were thinking the way people did at the end of the 19th Century! That is really cool, man, in every respect, and there could be more of it; call it soppy if you like.
