Nashism is a policy of Putin's goverment.
It is Russian fascism.
Given the historic bias of Russia against Jews, gays, and minorities of all kinds, it is the peak of hypocritical posing for Russia to represent itself as an anti-fascist state.
This is history beginning to repeat itself, with red ties and hats instead of brown shirts. No one should ignore the danger signs!

Your absolutely right! my wet botty gives me the feeling things are not well in Russia.
Well said,
But when will the Western media finally pick up on this??

Widespread homosexual behaviour is a symptom of a society that is in rapid decline. I believe that Russia is simply coming to its senses by saying "enough is enough" to perversion and restoring Christian values to this formerly atheist country. If our Western nations do not collapse and are not overrun by outside colonizers such as the muslims, it will probably be just a matter of time before we come to our senses and restore legislation against this behaviour.
Before anyone starts calling me a nazi, remember that homosexual acts were also illegal in every allied nation that fought the axis powers, except briefly in the former Soviet Union which legalized all manner of perversions when the communists first came to power.

A far greater danger to the West than Russian imperialism and Islamic terrorism is our internal decline. Plummeting birth rates, liberalism, perversion and apathy are our real enemies. Islamic terrorism is just the natural result of our insane immigration policies and will only increase as our society continues to plummet downhill. Russia is part of the Western Christian world and we need to pull this country back into our civilization. This can only be done when we shake off the extreme leftist ideas on the 1960s and restore Western Christian values to Europe and North America. A weak Russia is not in our interests but neither is an agressive Russia. In the next few years when our oil supplies continue to decline we will become increasingly dependent on Russia for oil and gas and we will have a major challenge ahead of us.
Peter, your comments are right on the mark! I am completely in agreement with you-the internal decline is the biggest problem of all. When we look around at the pathetic drain of talent from the ranks of our own Toronto youth, and then there is the irresponsible and stupid-not to mention naši-like racist hatred towards one's own, it is not surprising that the level of internal decline globally is taking on such a rapid descent. I would like to see more of your comments where you really have something of incredible substanse to say, and like me, completely ignore the opposition. They are and Estonian black armband tribe gone astray.
Thanks Maxim! You are a real gentleman and I admire you for ignoring some of the rude and ignorant comments made by bitter people in this forum who usually have nothing meaningful to contribute to these discussions and only take pleasure in bashing others who happen to have intelligent opinions on subjects.
Back to the article. The author praises Yeltsin but I would like to point out that under him, Russia was weak, corrupt and crime-ridden. This vodka-guzzling "leader" was a disaster to the Russian people and since Putin took over there have been drastic improvements in the Russian ecomomy. BBC recently ran an article about the growth of Russia's middle class and the subsequent rise of this country's birth rate. Putin is not perfect but I would like to ask those readers who just hate Russians and take pleasure in seeing this country's decline, do you really want to see a corrupt, unstable nuclear armed Russia next door to Estonia?
Nationalism is a positive development and we Estonians should encourage a confident forward-looking Russia next door to us. Of course, we must work against the brain-washing that has lead to Russians looking back to the communist era with a sense of nostalgia. The Russain people suffered more than any other under this alien non-Russian, anti-Western ideology and we should all make a collective effort to make sure that such tragedies as WW l and WW II never happen again.

Thus far, the best post of 07.
Thank you for the reality check!
Not sure about the first post where you draw a loose connection between the rise of homosexuality and the declining Russian population! Do you have a link for further information about this claim?

I was just commenting on Pamjat's post.
Russian nationalism is neither a new development nor positive in its nature.
For as long as Russia continues to hold off returning President Päts' auraha, as well as withholding other numerous items of value to the Estonian Republic, Russia will continue to hold sway over Estonia at least in a psychological sense. In its heart of hearts, any country not possessing all of its relics of past freedomis likely to have a future battle on its hands to convince itself of her total freedom and national status. Estonia has a number of reasons to be sceptical about the scope of freedom we have apart from Russia. Sure, we removed a physical symbol of Russian occupation, but on the other hand we are still captive to Russia's interests whilst that country flatly refuses to hand back what to Estonia is the cornerstone of her freedom-Päts' auraha. With Russia moving ahead economically, and having the potential (through mineral resources and gas/ol) to completely eclipse Estonia's economy in the next 10 years, I'd say we should be doing more to strenghen our ties with Russia rather than taking every opportunity to prove her unworthiness as a European trading partner and neighbouring country.
Russia will not rest until Estonia rejoins Russia and is reduced to Byelorus status (along with others of the near-abroad).
Your suggestion that this could be averted by ever greater appeasement on Estonia’s behalf demonstrates the depth of your naïveté (and IQ).

So do you think we should support Putin since he has apparently embraced the Orthodox church (or is that a bear hug?)
Islam was a direct response to an agressive and corrupt power posing as religion. While europe was drinking itself into the dark ages, arabs were the custodians of science and faith.
To accept true human spirituality in all its forms, and humans in all the flavors they come in is unfortunately not on the agenda of "Western Christian Civilization" or any religious fundamentalist.
Squashing human rights is done by slowly making some people more equal.
It is the decline of morality when people do not (and soon thereafter can not) speak freely and must obey some party/religious dogma to be able to function in a society.
It is when law is used to fragment society, rather than to uphold the golden rule, that forms the danger to humanity.

A lot depends on which particular Lodge a political official becomes attached. Some Masonic Lodges operate on a more humanitarian scale, and others have purely material motives to pursue. Not all masons have the same ideals. Kerensly was a flippant mason who just tried to use a political vacuum as a personal get-rich-quick-scheme for himself. The famous Russian writer Anna Akhmatova saw through these schemes, but she herself suffered as a result of Kerensky's repressive policies. The survival of Masonic Lodges in the Soviet Union can largely be attributed to the fact than US businessman and Soviet fellow traveller Arman Hammer financed Masonic lodges in Russia which indirectly assisted in keeping a political axis of thinking alive coming in from outside of the Iron Curtain-primarily from the USA. This conduit was ultimately the footstool for Reagan's war on the Soviet Union which he won with the help of the secret Masonic movement in Russia. It should also be noted that former President Lennart Meri was an active Masonic figure within the St.Petersburg Chapter.
A very interesting account of some details we in Canada hadn't a clue about! Thanks for this posting.
in addition to kerensky ... marx, lenin, trotsky, stalin, and other bolshevik leaders were all `men of the hidden hand`, which explains why they were able to secure western financing and support to establish and promote an atheistic state, and why their murdering of millions of innocents was ignored by the western media ... the communist prototype of aggregating all wealth in the hands of a few, is the forerunner of the model that is currently playing out in the west, as the gap between rich and poor grows, and the middle class disappears
... as nashism is funded by putin it can only perceived as another threat and modifier to the existing european order to help bring the world closer to the `novus ordo seclorum`

The use of a common currency in Europe-the EURO-is another factor helping to increase central power in Europe, and weakening the infrastructure of individual states within Europe. To suggest that easy transfer of money across borders makes trading easier simply overlooks the immediate disproportion that individual states have developed for themselves vis a vis GNP and wage/tax levels. "Advanced Europe" is so advanced it will never need to work as hard as "developing Europe". The next 100 years will see Estonian a footstool for the rest of Europe, as we pay disproportionate levels of tax to Brussels, but are told to be thankful that we should do more to appreciate the freedom we have already got. Because individual states' rights don't get a look in in greater Europe, we are no more than working subjects for our European overlords. It's as pathetic as that!
Your such a genius and you got a magic way of making complicated things simple and I think you should run for politics so you can put you special talent to good work for the whole of the country. Why is wishy washy Ilves President when straight shooting Maxim can tell it like it is. Anser me that!!!!
maxim you would be a great president, or better yet dictator (because your votes in total would add up to 1) ... a perfect buffoon in the george w bush mode ... just too bad savisaar does not have his band of marionettes a la the rothschilds ... but maybe you could be the starter kit for putin
And you are like the student at school who when the teacher asked the class; "well class-any queries"? And the boy at the back of the class put up his hand. The teacher said, yes? "And the student responded-"just answering the question miss"!!
Not only are you a talented analyst, but a great comedian too!
And handsome!
