Values debate over gay issues reaches fever pitch in Lutheran Church publications
Unto Hämäläinen, Helsingin Sanomat The Bible advises us to “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep”.
Christian weekly publications have observed this command as they have dealt with the crisis that has been gripping the Evangelical Lutheran Church. However, the those who weep and those who rejoice are split into two different camps.
Two publications, Kotimaa and Kirkko ja Kaupunki, both close to the Lutheran Church, are in mourning.
