An eight-member U.S. Congressional Delegation led by Rep. Kevin McCarthy [departed] Estonia today after successful meetings with Estonian government, business and think tank leaders on security issues, cyber defense, business cooperation, and U.S.-Estonian relations.
The U.S. Embassy welcomed the delegation on June 30 and organized several meetings with embassy officials, including U.S. Ambassador Michael C. Polt, as well.
The delegation [met] with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and Minister of Finance Jürgen Ligi. After visiting Estonia the delegation will travel to Russia and Georgia.
