Someone or something achieves "notoriety" when it becomes known for something bad. To be "notorious" is to be "infamous", not "famous". What a curious word choice! A far cry from the future Saagpakk, for one, envisioned for this and other Estonian twentieth century masterpieces and their readers, their relationship nourished by his own pioneering work, the Estonian-English Dictionary, in incalculable ways.
