US Embassy in Estonia Eesti Energia laid the cornerstone for their new Enefit 280 shale oil plant on Monday. This innovative plant will improve Estonia's energy security while releasing significantly less carbon dioxide and other pollutants than previous shale oil plants.
Production of synthetic crude oil from oil shale has the potential to revolutionize the oil industry in the U.S. and other countries, with significant positive implications for our trade balance and energy security.
