Today marks the 9th annual Safer Internet Day. The day, first celebrated in 2004, is observed each year on February 7 in over 60 countries around the globe. The goal of Safer Internet Day to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people.
This year’s theme is "Connecting generations and educating each other," in the hopes of encouraging young and old users alike to "discover the digital world together...safely"!
