The leader of Russia's democratic opposition, former Deputy Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov will stand trial on Thursday, September 2, at Zamoskvoretsky Magistrate Court in Moscow on the charge of "disobeying police", which carries up to 15 days in prison. Mr. Nemtsov was also arrested at a pro-democracy rally in Moscow on August 31. He was issued with an official police "reprimand" for distributing copies of an expert report criticizing Vladimir Putin's record in power (http://www.putin-itogi.ru/puti...)
