Russian dachas threaten to encroach on Finnish soldiers’ graves on Karelian Isthmus
Helsinkin SanomatA Russian entrepreneur’s holiday dacha village threatens to encroach on a cemetery with Finnish soldiers’ graves in Baryshevo (Äyräpää) in the Karelian Isthmus.
The entrepreneur has built a fence across the ruins of the church of Äyräpää, next to a burial site of close to 200 soldiers who died during the Winter War and Continuation War.
