Were you a resident of a migrant hostel (or reception centre) in South Australia between the mid‐1940s to the mid‐1980s?

Or did you work at a migrant hostel, or with migrants staying in a hostel in your community?

The project team, run by the Migration Museum, are interested in hearing your stories and memories of the hostel, and invite you to share these with them in order to contribute to a research project and to an exhibition at the Migration Museum scheduled to open in late 2013.

The Hostel Stories project team is based at the University of Adelaide and the Migration Museum, in partnership with Charles Sturt Council, Port Adelaide Enfield Council, State Records, and the Vietnamese Council in Australia (South Australia branch), under the auspices of an Australian Research Council Linkage Grant.

Please complete the attached form (see pages 7 & 8 on above Newsletter link) if you would like to participate in the project, and would be willing to be interviewed and/or loan, donate, or have relevant material scanned.

Thanks for Spreading the word, we'd love to hear from Estonian migrants who stayed in South Australian hostels.
