Lugupeetud New Yorgi Eesti Maja sõber, EST ENG
14 Mar 2012 EWR Online
Meil on hea meel Teile teatada, et New Yorgi Eesti Haridusseltsi iga-aastane pidulik koosviibimine õhtusöögi ja tantsuga - meie Kevadball - toimub laupäeval, 28. aprillil 2012 alates kell 6 p.l. New Yorgi Eesti Majas.
Traditsiooniliselt pühitseme selle üritusega meie organisatsiooni ajalugu ja panust New Yorgile ja New Yorgi eestlaskonnale.

Sellel aastal austame New Yorgi Eesti Lastesuvekodu (nn.

Tervitades,

Dear Friend of the NY Estonian Educational Society,

We are pleased to inform you that the Annual Dinner-Dance and 82nd Anniversary of the New York Estonian Educational Society will take place on Saturday April 28, 2012 starting at 6 PM at the Estonian House. The event will celebrate our organization's history and the commitment of the New York Estonian community to the city we call home.

This year we will honor the Estonian Children's Camp on Long Island and its directors through the years. This is the only formal summer camp for Estonian children in the USA. It was opened in 1955 and still functions with a full house every summer. Many of us spent our summers there years ago - we therefore hope you can participate with your presence, your memories, your pictures and your support.

We will also feature a "Silent Auction" which will include an array of artwork and other worthwhile prizes.

Our Dinner-Dance will feature entertainment by one of the few Estonian-American stand-up comics, Andrus Valvur as well as the Mike Barry Band for dancing.

We therefore ask you to participate in our celebration by joining us on
April 28, 2012 at the Estonian House. If you are unable to attend, your support with an ad in our Journal would be most welcome. The proceeds from the event will help us cover the ongoing costs of maintaining our House for future generations.
Thank you in advance for your support of what promises to be a wonderful event.

Cordially,

Toomas M. Sorra, M.D. Peeter Teedla
President of the Board Vice-President/Event Co-Chair
