There is great interest in the Peterborough area for our very own EKKT artist Jaan Teng. A special preview of his Paintings from Estonia exhibition took place at the Kawartha Artist's Gallery and Studio in Peterborough, ON on Sept. 6.

This was followed by a BBQ for all friends of Estonia at his residence/studio/gallery at the Teng Farm located on the outskirts of Peterborough. The guests enjoyed a variety of Esto delicacies: rossolje, herring, smoked salmon, crock hapukurgid, and smoked pork hocks and pigstails prepared by the artist himself in his newly acquired smoke oven. And of course accompanied by the famous and refreshing A le Coq.

You may still view this wonderful and exciting collection of paintings and art until September 18 at the Kawartha Artist's Gallery and Studio located on 420 O'Connell Rd. Peterborough, ON open daily 1 pm to 4 pm.

Jaan Teng B.A., MEd., C.E.T. has studied and taught at George Brown College, Fleming College, Eesti Art Akadeemia and Tallinn University and keeps a studio/workshop both in Tallinn and at his residence in rural Peterborough. He is a member of the Kawartha Artists Group in Peterborough as well as the Estonian Artists Group EKKT.

Please make this trip to the Kawarthas, a mere hour and a half from downtown Toronto to enjoy this exciting new collection that will bring a smile to your spirit.
