Artur Talvik (born 1964) graduated from the Drama School of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1988. Since 1992 he has focused on film and has writing, directing or producing credits on 30+ documentary and feature films, plus over 100 commercials.
Artur’s films are screened around the world, winning many awards, including four EstDocs Audience Awards. Artur’s sleep-deprived but ever-cheerful Skype interviews have become EstDocs highlights.
Artur’s varied activities include serving as chairman of the Estonian Film Foundation, producing the first virtual/digital song festival (Ühtelaulmine, 2010) and running for election to the Estonian parliament in 2011. He is currently a partner in the production house Eetriüksus OÜ.
