In November, the producer price index of industrial output continued to decrease

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2015, the producer price index of industrial output changed by -0.3% compared to October 2015 and by -1.7% compared to November 2014.

In November, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of furniture, but also by an increase in prices in the manufacture of wood and wood products.

Compared to November 2014, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of fuel oils, food products, and chemicals and chemical products, but also by an increase in prices in the manufacture of electronic equipment and in mining and quarrying.

The producer price index data for October have been specified in relation to the data received from enterprises.

In November 2015, the export price index changed by -0.3% compared to October 2015 and by -3.6% compared to November 2014.

In November, compared to the previous month, the prices of electricity, furniture and metals decreased more than average, while the prices of forestry products, plastic and rubber products and beverages increased more than average.

In November 2015, the import price index changed by -0.2% compared to October 2015 and by -4.4% compared to November 2014.

In November, compared to the previous month, the prices of electricity, agricultural products and leather products decreased more than average, while the prices of oil products, wearing apparel and textiles increased more than average.
