Although it was something of a passive accomplishment, defensive lineman Margus Hunt became the first Estonian to make it into the playoffs of one of North America's biggest four pro sports leagues when his NFL team, the Cincinnati Bengals, routed the Minnesota Vikings 42-14 to clinch their division.

Mihkel Roos before him was in the National Football League playoffs, representing the Tennessee Titans, but Hunt is the first non-naturalized Estonian (he does not hold an American passport) to earn the distinction.

The Bengals (10-5) are in the playoffs for the third straight year, with their undefeated home record playing no small role in their success.
