Hillside Cafe closing on June 25th (1)

Hillside Cafe has announced that after 20 years of business, they will be closing the store at 594 Mt. Pleasant on Thursday June 25th. Last chance to sample their much loved pirukad, kringel, rukileib and other delicious Estonian baked goods will be at the Nordic Fair at Mel Lastman Square from Friday June 26th to Sunday June 28th.

Hillside Cafe has been a fixture in the Toronto Estonian community since 1995, owned and run by the tireless and hardworking Männama family.

I'm really going to miss that place, used to go there for a meat pie and coffee, read the newspaper, listen to good music ...
However, life goes on - there is an other
place for meat pies, coffee and good music www.nordicfoods.org
