Hello friends,

The fourth annual “JK Jazz 2010” music & art festival takes place on the August 28-29 weekend, on the grounds of the Jõekääru Summer Camp in Udora, ON. We are once again, hoping for terrific attendance! Please plan to attend!

Adult tickets are still only $30 in advance (and $40 at the Gate). Youth tickets (ages 13-19) are $15 available ONLY at the Gate and Kids (12 and under) are admitted free. One ticket is good for the entire two-day festival.

This year’s line-up includes - - the Peter Appleyard quartet including JK Jazz veteran Terry Clarke, Luis Mario Ochoa, Hilario Duran, Laura Põldvere, Kadri Voorand, Raivo Tafenau, Mihkel Mälgand, Sophia Perlman, Adrean Farrugia, Mikael Tenno, Elena Lepik and many, many others. Wow!

All Festival organization and operation is carried out by Volunteers to maximize festival proceeds for the benefit of the Jõekääru children’s summer camp ("Camp JK").

If you are attending the festival and are willing to help as a VOLUNTEER (each volunteer shift is just 4 hours) at any point during the festival (e.g. Friday set-up / Saturday at the festival / Sunday at the festival / Sunday tear-down), then PLEASE send an email to indicating on which day and approximately what time you’d like to volunteer.

If you have a preferred task or role (e.g. gate control, ticket sales, dining hall monitor, technical help, administrative tasks – OR – “it doesn’t matter; I will help where needed most”) please mention this in your email as well.
