U.S. Embassy Tallinn September 3, 2012
The United States has celebrated the first Monday in September as Labor Day, which honors the social and economic contributions of the American workforce, for the last 118 years.
This day of rest also marks the symbolic end of summer for Americans, so many families will use the opportunity for parties, parades, athletic events, or just one last family outing before returning to work.
Wherever you are, whether here in Estonia, at home in America, or somewhere else in the world, we here at Embassy Tallinn hope you are able to rest from your labors and enjoy the day surrounded by family and friends.
Happy Labor Day!
